Social work or Samajik Seva is about the development of society & having the aim to contribute towards the issues like unemployment, poverty, sanitization facilities, proper health guidance, education facilities, etc. Sri Raj Rajeshwari Charitable Trust is trying to be an integral part of the democratic society & is working on various seva opportunities in these sectors to ensure the development and solutions to various issues in our society.
One of our main tasks is to work on the head system by providing medical assistance. It includes nursing and care, and sociological services. Apart from these services we also provide financial support along with material to those who are in dire need. We help those sections of society who need medical assistance but are unable to afford it on their own. The trust has so far helped some ladies in their pregnancy, contributed for a Cataract operation, and distributed medical supplies and medicines during COVID times.
Sri Raj Rajeshwari Charitable Trust also helps those students who need financial help in their studies. We have donated for the development of the school in our locality. Even though the government is trying to provide the most educational support, non-profit organizations are contributing as well. We are mentoring the best educational support which will rebuild the emotional architecture of any child. Education will help them to progress further in their career which will improve their financial condition. We are happy to provide financial support as scholarships for tuition and living costs along with enrollment fees in schools and universities. We will encourage as much as possible to ensure the improvement of the education system along with improving the literacy rate in India.
The Trust is also involved with relief work on various categories. We mostly work on relief against hunger by providing water and food items in various rural and distressed areas. Disaster relief is also one of the major actions we take for providing food and Safe water to distressed regions. We are also working on community kitchens to provide nutritious high-quality food at a low price. As Varanasi is situated in the region prone to floods every year, Shri Raj Rajeshwari Charitable Trust distributes flood relief kits in the area affected by the flood. We also offer medical supplies and healthcare relief to those who are in medical distress.
